"Died, January 20, 1890 in this city, Alma Caroline, wife of Carl A. Christenson.  Age 25 years and 7 months.  A little daughter, Julia Mariah, died Jan. 11, 1890 age about two years.  A loving husband and parent now suffering upon a bed of sickness is left alone to mourn the loss of his loved ones that are now peacefully sleeping upon the foothills just north of this city."
